Extraordinary rendition.

Extraordinary rendition.

In times gone by, that phrase would most likely have been used in the context of ‘Yasha Heifetz’ extraordinary rendition of Saint Saens’ Rondo Capriccioso thrilled the audience’ or ‘the extraordinary rendition by Pablo Casal of 'BACH’s Suite no 1 for Cello' brought the listeners to their feet’. It was a term about something beautiful and creative. It was a phrase relating to revelation by an artist of the most noble part of the human spirit.
